Foreign Language Teaching Assistants explore the world at low cost by sharing knowledge of their language and culture with teachers and students in a school in another country/culture.

If you are:

• a fluent speaker of: Arabic, Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin), English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, or Spanish,
• interested in traveling to a different national/cultural setting to help others learn your language,
• willing to assist a teacher of your language four to five class hours each school day as an unpaid volunteer during a four or ten week placement, and are
• a responsible adult age 18 or older who can be entrusted to help teachers and students in host schools,

we welcome you to consider serving as a Foreign Language Teaching Assistant.
